About Keith Hamilton

Keith has over 35 years of experience in working with clay. From small beginnings and a number of years of producing traditional casseroles, pots and planters, he then began to make his mark.

STONECRAFT POTS

His Stonecraft range emerged and has been flourishing for the last 15 years. From water features to large feature pots to vases and planters, Keith has developed an enormous range that blends naturally into any indoor or outdoor setting.

BLUESTONE FIRES

His love of all things earthy and natural and his passion for making fire have led to the development of his Bluestone Fires range. About 10 years ago he started working on the possibility of making fireplaces. He spent several years researching clay based materials in which fire could be made. Finally he developed a product that had virtually zero thermal expansion – ideal for the fireplace application. The result of this has been the creation of  a range that has evolved to where it is today, always incorporating new thinking and innovation and ways to make the outdoor experience richer. His range currently includes pizza ovens, boma fire pits, fire slabs, braais and tandoori ovens. They come in a variety of sizes and finishes and all have that distinctive Keith Hamilton touch.

Cooking accessories
Naturally the first accessories for the Bluestone Fires were grids to fit the different sized fire pits but Keith didn’t stop there. Then came warmers, potjie pot holders, wok holders and light holders and it grows.

For his pizza ovens Keith has gone to great lengths to make sure all your needs are covered – an accessory holder for a variety of pizza paddles, a log lifter, a fire pusher, an ash scraper and a pizza hook!

Outdoor Furnishings
He has also developed a range of outdoor furniture including stools, tables, wood bowls and ice basins that compliment all of the Bluestone Fires range and are ideally suited to outdoor entertaining.
